Pretty solid tbh.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Cliffs from first vid:
-you need to feel good about what you're doing/visualizing as your version of succes, i.e. have high dopamine so you can focus and be more successful
-weed and alcohol fuked up his dopamine, lowered motivation to do other stuff for awhile
-spending time on social media gives you dopamine, spending too much time there will deflate your motivation to do other chit
-don't waste your dopamine on social media and dumb chit
-save your dopamine for things that are meaningful to your goals

second vid:
-get angry and motivated for your goals
-be one of the hungry few rather than the mediocre many
-focus on your goals
-take ownership of your life
-raise your standards/make big plans
-stop watching news, quit drugs, alcohol
-develop your applicable skills, don't let things hold you back

he's got some good points but not a fan of the wannabe self-help guru vibes

Lmao.

Whenever I watch these 'self-help' people I always wonder who is watching this and feels so bad about themselves that they actually apply whatever dumb self-improvement technique is given.

The 'goals' are usually not very intrinsic, which shows how forced this person's thought process is.

If you don't naturally flow into exactly what you want in life, you're doing it wrong.

You certainly don't need someone else to tell you what you should want and should be doing to get it..... Try using a mirror.
