Mma fans are pathetic with their hate for McGregor.
Conor doesnt have to fight. He has nothing to gain, and nothing to prove.
The man still fights for the love if it and for the fans.
People do nothing but chit allover him but should be thankful we still get to see him compete. He came to win that last match with Soyierier. Unlucky break (srs) I think he would have won. He shouldnt have shot for the guillotine and wouldnt have ended up on the ground in the 1st. But if his leg didnt break he would have won that fight. That 2nd would have shown all.
I don't know if Conor will ever reach the top again. Probably not. But I'm grateful for every moment I get to see the man in that octagon.

It went from some 'grade A' banter to an excess of arrogance and tasteless humor real quick. The whole Khabib situation made him lose his mind tbh

I don't think he was ever as good as people thought, rather just had a good run
People don't understand variance very well when it comes to fighting, they underestimate what could be defined as 'luck'
For example, no fighter ever has a 100% win chance when entering a fight. In fights in the UFC their chances are usually about equal, and good fighters have like a 75% win chance, say... the greats have an even higher win chance, maybe 90%, 95% in their primes.
I think Conor is like a 65% guy, and he ran good for a period of time
If you ask the average noob what they think Conor is in terms of win rate, they'll give you uneducated responses like "In his prime? 100% chance to beat everyone." or "Easily 90%+"
Or they just don't think in those terms at all.
Conor really wasn't ever that good of a fighter

Bro. You have 500 millies in the bank and you still wake up to fight a fukkn killer in a cage, how can you question someones drive. Just another couch surfer who doesnt know chit.
I agree he will never reach the top of the mountain peak again but who gives a chit? How is he supposed to talk? Is he supposed to be humble and act like hes not there to win? Absolute retards the MMA community has for fans.

his biggest wins against are aldo and alvarez. both of whom fuked up under the pressure. aldo lost his head. alvarez got his tactics wrong from the get go, he needed to wrestle from the start
