Anyone see Venom let there be Carnage yet?

People are saying its an improvement and seem to generally like it so far, but I dont get it. Admittedly I dont read comics, but I saw all the cartoons growing up, seen all the movies, read some wikipedia stuff, etc. Feel like I know my stuff. That being said, wtf is this? The venom I know is a ruthless badass. Why is he a goofball child in these movies?

End credits scene is Venom getting transported to the MCU universe and he sees spiderman on the tv screen. I dont want this version of venom anywhere near spiderman. The people dont want to see Venom vs Spiderman just because its venom vs spiderman. You need to do the black suit arc first to connect the 2 characters and give them a reason to fight. Emotional stakes. This venom has none of that

First was surprisingly good second one is anyone's game.

And the post-credits scene was a good idea and they could easily do that story arc if they needed to.
