Are you young at 32?

I remember when I turned 30 I felt like this big adult and took on alot of demenaours associated with maturity, such as coughin like old men do, standing confidently like a person that "been there seen that done that" nonsense, starting to look down on those younger than me and so on

but here I am 2 (actually 2 and a half) years later, and I feel young at my age, how should a 32 year old person act/talk and walk? it feels so phatetic to take on the poise of some 60 year old man

anyone around my age who can chime in and give your thoughts on this?

and also is it an old age? I think the only ones that would view it as old are teenagers

I think it depends. If a man takes care of himself, he can look good and be considered 'youngish' well into his 40s. I've also seen people that let themselves go in their 20s and look like an absolute chitshow at 30 as well.

For women it's over at 25.

Everything is relative, you're young compared to a 60 year old, but old compared to a 16 year old.
But 30s is the middle of the road in my opinion, neither young or old.

Compared to a 16 year old you're ancient, compared to a 60 year old you're still a baby.

But in general yes I'd say it's still considered young, 40+ is when you're in the middle aged category and when most people stop looking 'young' although depends on genetics and how you take care of yourself.

32 is young by 21st century standards. Living to 85+ is so common nowadays and UK alone has around 13.3k people over 100 years old.

I don't even care about turning 40 next year. So many 40 year-old men are in good shape and look about 30...I will be one of them.

Let's be realistic.

22 - 29 - Young Adult of varying maturity

30 - 37 - Adult

38 - True Middle Of Lifespan, "Middle Aged"

50 - 59 - Older Adult

60+ - Old, Can retire

70+ - Elderly, Should retire

76 - Average male death age

80+ - Ending, needs assistance, co-dependence due to age

Just my opinion. In general I think 40's is the new 30's given how old we'll be living on average.

Depends on who you ask. But generally that's considered a young adult. Current society infantilizes people into permanent adolescence so there are 40 year old who act like teenager consumers etc.

To an 18 year old 32 might seem old but to a 40 year old it might seem young an to a 60 year old you're still a kid
