The 3 actors who are for sure going to be in the final 3 for the next James Bond..

1)Henry Cavil
2)Luke evans
3)Tom Hardy


My vote goes to Tom hardy. Guy is rugged, can fight and act. He would be the choice.


My issue with cavill is that hes too big to play bond. Bond has to be average height, athletic and “fit into the crowd”.

I could be wrong and he might be the choice but i dont see it.

Luke Evans would be a great pick as well.

What do you all think?

Evans and Hardy are too old for a new series of movies, Cavill could work but the retard simply can't act. Plus Hardy looks like he smells like chips with vinegar while Evans is a buttmuncher. Not a problem per say, but it wouldn't work for Bond.

Could work, new Bond has to be in his mid 30s, Madden already did something remotely similar in Bodyguard. I think Nicholas Hoult and possibly Joe Dempsie (Gendry/Skins kid) could also work.

After watching The Man From Uncle I would prefer to see Cavil get the role. Man from uncle tops all of Craig's james bond movies except for Casino Royale, IMO.

Out of those I'd pick Luke Evans. Cavill and Hardy are too recognized. Luke Evans might actually be able to make the role his own.

Cavill people are just always going to see The Witcher or Superman. Same type of thing with Hardy.

henry cavil? lol, he can't act his way out of a paper bag. he's fine for superman and whatnot, but he's obviously not going to be the next bond. it'll be a black guy or they'll just move forward with the black chick from the new movie as another 00. if cavil gets the role i'll be utterly shocked.

Let's look at some of the James Bonds.

Sean Connery - 32 years old in his first James Bond, Dr No (1962) - had 7 James Bond movies - final movie at age 53

Roger Moore - 46 years old in his first James Bond, Live and Let Die (1973) - had 7 James Bond movies - final movie at age 58

Timothy Dalton - 41 years old in his first James Bond, The Living Daylights (1987) - had 2 James Bond movies - final movie at age 43

Pierce Brosnan - 42 years old in his first James Bond, GoldenEye (1995) - had 4 James Bond movies - final movie at age 49

Daniel Crag - 38 years old in his first James Bond, Casino Royale (2006) - had 5 James Bond movies - final movie at age 53

Seems like overall, with rare exceptions like Roger Moore, they want the new James Bond to be less than 43 for the most part, and for that James Bond to end in the early-mid 50's. Tom's already 44, Luke is 42, Henry is youngest at 38. I think those are fair guesses by OP tbh, as far as practical men around the age they like to get started with new JB's.

One thing to keep in mind, the James Bond movies lately have been more spread out than ever before. In the earlier days there was a new JB every 2 or so years. With Daniel Craig it was 3, 4, and more recently a 6 years gap. If they're taking longer to make these films these days they'll want to start off the new JB being younger.

EDIT: Meant to say, for those reasons, out of the three I think Henry is the best option. He's big, but maybe he'd be willing to get lean for the role, idk.

I honestly feel Luke evans could do well with the role but his age is a factor.

I recently watched the bodyguard series with Richard Madden and the guy can pull it off. If he can just work in his scottish accent hes the guy…book it.

I suggest you guys watch it on netflix.

Broccoli family keeps the Bond brand in high regard. A lot of people people joke that it's gonna be a woman or whatever don't understand how much the family has a say in everything Bond. It's one of the most tightly held IPs. And Barbara Broccoli already ruled out a female Bond.

My money would be on Henry Cavil, the other two are getting too old already, they are in their 40's. Plus, 6', 1" isn't that tall, pretty average these days for a good sized guy.
