This Lexus commercial pisses me off

really bad. I don't think I've ever been rustled by a commercial so bad. Something about that retarded autistic sideways headbanging dance they are doing between shots of the car, gets my blood boiling every time

specifically at 22 seconds. They have a few commercials like this for a few other cars in their lineup. Some ****gy urban youth bull**** is apparently their new target demographic. It doesn't help that it keeps popping up and pissing me off.

This.

Their product development team has been fkn up for a couple of years now. It's the stupidest thing I've ever seent.

They made the move of catering to a younger crowd, failing to realize that people age and fall into a new segment.

Young Dindus and young Qwhitecels don't have the money to buy these type of cars.

This was the goatest era of Lexus.(Ignore the whitecel)

Unless you been in one of these cars, you wouldn't know what luxury was. The interior was freaking solid.

Fast forward to today, 50k gets you some red leather and a bunch of plastic and some metal here and there.

The 07-11 GS/LS was the best vehicles to come from Lexus. The design and luxury was on point and matched up to the image and philosophy of Lexus.

Wtf is this commercial with the rapping and chit. Cmon man.

Aren't you guys impressed with how brave Old Navy is? To stand up for body positivity like this?

I'm sooooo impressed. [sarcasm][/QUOTE]LMAO! I saw that one too. The part where they're doing that shoulder-pop thing pisses me off hard, srs. Too many lardasses and the only average woman is hiding behind all the other lardasses. Fukcing disgusting all-around, srs. If you look closely you can see some of those hamplanets can't even do all the moves

Don't blame a corporation who's sole purpose is to turn a profit for a health crisis caused by lack of self responsibility.

What do you expect Old Navy to do? stick to sizes 0-12 and lose profit margins?

Adapt and over come or sink.

not a fan of cover songs in commercials. why not play the original? Reminds me of another Lincoln commercial where they used a cover of a Blue Oyster Cult song. I couldn't find the commercial, but the band has the song uploaded (lol)

Pretty poor marketing move. White people aren’t going to drive a lexus when enough poor people are driving the same car. Well, except for woke white women and soyboys that is

I had an LS430 and an RX400H. Well made cars, the LS had a big ass 8 cylinder engine. Unfortunately, as with most higher-end brands, once you hit 100k miles you're totally fukd on maintenance costs. And tbh the cars are kinda boring. They are designed for the over 50 crowd that likes soft, elegant rides to the supermarket. Going for the under 30s, when your price avg is still $45k+ makes zero sense. No thug kids can afford these cars, nor would they pay for the average styling when they can get something much fancier at that price point.

Don’t worry OP if you work hard and save your money you’ll afford that L badge some day

Worst case scenario just buy a “pre-loved” entry level model like Gordo

That is America’s existential question.

They can’t - they’re leased or financed with obscene terms to impress strangers/gain ‘social status’

Since the housing market has been wrecked beyond the reach of most young people, companies are now selling cars as the new American dream….who better to sell to than poor, financially illiterate urban youth flush with government benefits.

This. Lmao if you think Lexus cares if you buy a car outright. They just want heavy monthly payments until you realize you can't afford it.

I've definitely known friends who literally make like 30k/yr at best and have $500-700 monthly car payments.

that makes a lot of sense. I remember reading some lenders are doing 10 year auto loans now.

same. I worked with people who made much less money than I but drove much nicer, newer cars. Some people owned more than one car on a fcking $14/hour wage. I'm sure in the end we will all wind up paying for that mess systematically
