Misc Lawyers, I think I want to become a lawyer, is it hard?
Not the job itself, but the process. I'm not looking to go to U of C or Northwestern, but maybe one of the lesser schools in my area. Can you do it online only these days?
I'm dead serious, I was thinking of getting a dual JD/MBA but opted for the easier path. I'd like legal credentials now though, I review enough contracts, I should get paid for it.

Only 3 reasons you should consider law:
-well connected to a lawyer, i.e. uncle owns a law firm or dad is a top lawyer at a medium/large firm
-full scholarship from top lsat score/gpa
-admitted to T14 school
Paying full tuition for any other school or without connections will make you broke and have 0 prospects of the success a law degree used to warrant

The LSAT is fun to prepare for (if you like logic games). I recommend Powerscore bibles for logical reasoning and logic games. Also, law school isn't as hard as ppl hype it up to be.

I was thinking about a fulltime MBA a couple years ago, but most execs (c-suite and exec vp's) in my industry don't have super prestigious schools in their backgrounds. honestly gave me cope/hope even though I went to a pretty good undergrad.

Over saturated as phuck. I wouldn’t bother unless you plan on attending a really good law school and graduating top of your class. The world needs less goddamn attorneys, not more.

I always wanted to be a LAWYER but when you REALIZE for the TIME and EFFORT it's basically a WASTE of time it is PRETTY life DENYING because it is one of those SUPER respected and scholarly PURSUITS but it's pure ROMANTICISM.

market is oversaturated with lawyers.
If more people do it than there are even jobs then it isnt that hard.
Lawschool is the backup option when you realize you have a useless undergrad degree and no way to pay off your student loans.
dont tell lawyers this though, they cope hard and tell themselves theyre so great.
