Email from my sons school (middle school). I don't remember anything like that happening in our schools. My high school had a few riots but nothing where people got together to do chit like this.

My son is a charming little nerd who's way too self aware, I have full confidence he wouldn't even think of doing anything like this.




This letter is to inform you of recent trending TikTok challenges affecting our school community as well as other campuses across the country. The challenges encourage students to engage in dangerous and, in some cases, criminal behavior (vandalism, sexual assault, and stealing). The challenges further motivate them to post these behaviors on social media platforms. The monthly themes are as follows:

September: Vandalize school bathrooms
October: Smack a staff member
November: Kiss a friend’s girlfriend at school
December: “Deck the halls and show your balls”
January: Jab a breast
February: Mess up school signs
March: Make a mess in the courtyard or cafeteria
April: Grab some “eggz” (theft/stealing/sexual assault)
May: Ditch Day
June: Flip off front office
XXXX Middle School strives to provide a safe, structured learning environment for all our students to reach their fullest potential in all aspects of learning. It is our goal to ensure all students, faculty, staff, and visitors are safe both during and after school hours. All students are expected to follow the XXXX District Code of Conduct (attached). Students who participate in any one of these challenges will face one or more of the following consequences: suspension, expulsion, or detainment/arrest by law enforcement pending the severity of the action.

Please discuss with your child the dangers and consequences of participating in these challenges or being present while others are participating in these challenges. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s grade level administrator.

It's amazing that it is all for some social media clout. Laws need to be passed to prevent ppl from doing Stoopid things in areas where public safety or one's own safety is at risk for the sake of social media. Or just amplify the sentencing or punishment for whatever the crime is if it is for posting on social media. This chit is getting ridiculous.
