Rate my pumpkin bread/10

It's that time of the year where people go crazy pumpkin psycho...which I don't. But...a little pumpkin bread can be a nice treat.

Happy almost weekend!

Hmmm... I would need to see it sliced to give a proper rating. I make pumpkin bread from time to time (no pics yet) and I get a lot of good feedback on it. Full of good spices (nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, etc) and I dice up some dates to mix into the bread. It's good as fug, srs. Tastes like a cake, srs.

but yeah slice it up and I will rate

Whats the secret to make it moist and fluffy on the inside as opposed to dry as fuk? Maybe it’s the protein powder I cook with but everything I try always comes out very dry in the inside
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Pro tip: add 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips to the batter.

Still cooling but will slice a piece in a bit. I use all those spices but no cloves. I hate the taste of cloves.

This was a 2 loaf recipe which called for 1 cup of oil, 4 eggs and 2/3 cup of water. Cook on 350 for 50 min. I will cut a piece after it cools.

Promising. How do you feel about nuts though? Pecans or walnuts? Pumpkin seeds?

Dead Easy Pumpkin Muffins

- can of pumpkin puree
- box of spice cake mix

- preheat oven to 325
- spray or line your muffin tin [12 regular sized]
- mix pumpkin puree w/spice cake mix and fill your tin
- bake 18 to 20 minutes

No oil, so they are low fat/low cal and you can add extras if you want to. It's an old recipe that has been bumping around for awhile.

Oh looks like a nice treat indeed. Anyhoo, I don't go crazy with pumpkin but I do make bread and pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving...that's it.

Came out good and I'm happy with it. I gotta make 2 more loaves to give away tomorrow.

Something awful to me about hard crunchy walnuts or anything to soft chewy bread/cake. Same goes for cookies and brownies.

I don't know why just always hated the taste of cloves...even the smallest amount. I used 15 oz of pumpkin for 2 loaves. For some reason mine always comes out light...but you can taste the pumpkin.

Store shelves are empty so all they had was one 30 oz can. I don't want it to go to waste so I'm making a couple more tomorrow which I will give to the neighbors. I'm always giving out food and baked goods lol.

Weird. Maybe in the future if I make my pumpkin bread I will bump this thread with my pics.
