These guys are rebels to that kind of sell out fakeness. That’s what makes them hard. And they didn’t fuk around with that bs, they stayed true to who they were, hard riffs and hard catchy vocals.

Back in HS, Korn was the hardest group out. Nobody banged like they did.

The Metallica Black album was so good. It's 10/10.

Then you had all the grunge bands that were awesome. Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, etc. The 90's just rocked overall.

No. Actual metal didn't stop existing with grunge, it just went back to the underground. There was death metal, black metal, thrash metal, speed metal, grindcore, hardcore, etc. There were hundreds or thousands of bands heavier than KoRn.

I’ve seen Korn and TOOL within the past few years in concert and TOOL makes them look like sheep.

TOOL is coming to my area in January and the tickets were selling out like hot cakes within an hour after they went on sale.

nah its too frenetic and spastic which is detrimental to its overall energy in the available soundscape

Just booked a ticket to see them in May, standing tickets were going for $500-600 though, there was no way i was paying that.

Lol took one response for Pantera. Pantera isn't music, it's just noise.

But yes there were loads of acts a lot heavier than Korn. Korn was successful because they found a formula for heavy music that was actually somewhat listenable for the average person.

That's my issue with Slayer too. Slayer has some good songs overall but then there's these terrible solos half way through that are just pointless noise and are a challenge to even listen to.
