Bodybuilding fans, question.

How well do you think dorian yates would do in todays olympia? And why, obviously. Ofc talking dorian at his prime.

Dont know anything about bodybuilding and trying to gauge how much it has actually evolved. If you look at any other sport, the difference between athletes today vs the 90s is a grand canyon gap.






I was watching an interview he did a few years ago and he said the top guys at that years mr O would place 6th in the 90s lol.

He would win for sure. His conditioning along with his size and presense on stage wouldve been enough. I think A prime phil heath with his 3d look could win a show against him though.

Still think 1998/1999 ronnie was the peak.

He’d be top 2 depending on how ramy comes in. His competition was miles better than ramy competition.

he would do well, but him and the judges created the mess that arnold and the older pros are bitching about today with mass monsters.

thats simply because bodybuilding is supposed to be about mass and conditioning, height and weight arent really supposed to matter its the look. in other sports, everything has gotten bigger. now a 6'6 mass monster shredded, could change the game.

I have a documentary about Dorian Yates I bought from iTunes, they say he was more shredded than any other competitor. They came up with the word “grainy” to describe how shredded he was.

Yea you can only get so big as a human being. Nowadays, it seems like they're just trying to get as close to as big and lean as you can possibly get. But that has already been accomplished by people like Yates, Coleman, Cutler etc first. They set the standard
