What's your average resting pulse rate?
I've always had a high resting pulse rate of high 80s, low 90s. Despite all my cardio and lifting. Never made sense to me, but I talked to a family member the other night who said her resting pulse rate has always been in the high 90s, low 100s. So now wondering if this could be genetic? Neither one of us has any other heart conditions. Anyhow, wondering how common this is. Anyone else with unusual resting pulse rates? high or low averages?
Also, I tend to have low blood pressure on top of that. Not sure if the two tend to be correlated.

Mine is in the mid 50's, but in the low 70's when I drank a lot.
if you have hypotension, that can definitely cause your heart to beat faster which is the case with people who have POTS. Id get that checked out.

Sub 50 is about as much as I can say. My pacemaker kicks in at 50 and I pace 37% of the time but only sleep 20% of the time, so somewhere sub 50.

Around 70 if I stay away from wheat and sugar.
Wheat and sugar bring it up to 90 to 110.

I can only imagine how much higher it would be for me if I did not exercise or diet well.

Like 80, and also high blood pressure. Sadly I think this is linked with low life expectation
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."
