GREAT RESET: Walmart & Costco limit toilet paper sales & toy companies warn parents

You will own nothing and like it.

=====================

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...edication.html

Supply chain problems that have been tormenting retailers for months are showing up in America's stores
Around the country, there are shortages of goods on shelves in Target, Costco, Home Depot and Sears
The issues aren't specific to any one type of good and are down to problems with shipping and distribution
Cargo ships off can't get into overworked ports to drop off goods and are hovering off the coast
There is a global shortage in truck drivers which is stalling distribution of goods and railroads are also jammed
The cost of shipping a single container from China to LA reached $20,000 last month - four times what it cost last October
There are fears that some of the backed-up ships at the port in L.A. will not be emptied before Black Friday - the biggest retail day of the year and the start of the Christmas shopping season
Some retailers are telling people to buy Christmas gifts now to ensure they arrive on time
There is no immediate end in sight: Biden has launched a White House supply chain task force but businesses fear the problems will stretch on for months yet
Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell predicts the issues will last until next year - which will prolong inflation

Manufacturing and SCM cannot keep up with lost demand at this point because of what happened. Nothing about a great reset.

Haha the greater mystery in all of this, Why would Sears be on that list. They only have 19 stores in the entire world.

The only dumpster fire that smells worse, And burns slightly more toxic than the Biden administration is the Sears corporation.

It's only going to get worse. We've only begun to feel the effects of the shipping/supply shortages. It's like a rubber band effect.

With that being said, LMAO at "buying stuff for Christmas" this year. Should be the least of your worries.

In the last ten or so years

1billion has been spent on port of Los Angeles for every 5billion spent on east coast ports for awhile.

Cargo ships have raised their capacity by ~20% while trucks have marginally increased capacity

China has fully come through with reopenings/getting over a wave quickly in time to send a ton of stuff to LA right as covid hit LA area.

Workers are all overworked etc.. not enough employment sure but there’s also efficiency issues at organizing unloading and truck shipping at the port and it’s a lot of issues there that have been brewing along time and now the straw broke the camels back.

No. TP is made domestically from domestic products. The previous shortage was caused by shifts between home use and commercial products and the supply chain shift in people putting more stock in their homes when the first issue initially hit. Expect to see items that are produced overseas or domestically from overseas materials to be the issues. Given the cost of expediting a container you might expect items that are more expensive per square area to be less of an issue, as the cost impact of expediting is less as a percent of unit cost than something large and inexpensive.
