will cost the yanks over 700 bucks a year.. and only cost 17 bucks to produce.

and it was funded by the US government (taxpayers money).. but big pharma will be the one's getting paid (and then funding the democrats lol for their next campaign).

Just watched that myself.

Pretty blatant f*ck you from pharma.

I was already aware that taxpayers fund a lot of drug development, not the pharmaceutical industry, but most people are unaware I think. That's how they justify US consumers paying more more prescription medicines than people in other countries- they claim that we have to pay a lot so that the companies can cover development costs and still be profitable/stay in business.

It's a lie. They just charge as much as they can. Your money or your life.

Treat the disease and you have happy one-time customers.
Treat the symptoms and you have happy repeat customers.

I wonder if the entire cold/flu medicine industry is built on a lie. What if Ivermectin or other similar drugs that we already have, can in fact, cure the common cold/flu?

Big Pharma would never throw away their business of highly profitable drugs to treat the symptoms of the cold/flu by announcing a cure. That would cost them tens of billions of dollars a year!
