Is the new Bond Movie "WOKE" ?

SRS - I love the Bond franchise, even if a few have been disappointing, it's still a great feeling to sit in the theater and have that fun feeling of anticipation as the movie starts.

However, I haven't seen a movie in a proper theater since going to see "Once upon a Time in Hollywood" - basically Bond and Tarantino movies are the only thing worth seeing IMO.

So with that said, I know they are slowly making Bond movies more WOKE, so I want to know if "No Time To Die" is woke, exactly how woke is it? And second, if it's woke, will it ruin the Bond franchise for me?

They marketed it as woke and I was absolutely not going to see it, but then my buddies went and said it was good and not woke at all. I saw it with my girl and can confirm it’s not woke.

Which is hilarious. Why market something as woke when it’s really not? You’re just driving people away from you movie for no reason at all

Nah. No more than any other recent Bond film. There are some scenes where girls do kick serious ass though. lol

It was marketed as woke though for sure.

There are so many hypersensitive crybabies on both sides that its impossible to know by reading anything.

Commentators tried to politicize First Man, saying it was too woke, making a big deal about the American flag not being prominent enough or having its own scene, and the movie was a god damn masterpiece.

Im seeing the new Bond this weekend, if you wait till next week Ill update this post Sunday night.

Wait, how could First Man possibly have been woke? It took place in 1969, I don't remember seeing a single black person in the movie. The only woman I remember was Neil's annoying wife

I didn't enjoy the movie but I wouldn't say it was woke, especially if you compare it to smilar movies released this year.

They did the black 007 girl dirty though. All the abuse she received and she was basically a gimmick, you could remove her entirely from the movie and it wouldn't make an ounce of difference.

I expect to see more beloved characters to be turned black in the future to generate buzz.
