No wonder no one in England gives a sh*t about 'American Football'

Every year they have the sh*ttiest matchups of the season played there. Today, Jaguars vs. Dolphins. Really? An 0-5 team vs a 1-5 team/

I’m in England and I like NFL. Obviously they aren’t gonna send the top games to London, I’ve never been to the live games but I think people go for the experience of the game since there’s so few in Europe rather than to watch the top teams

They aren’t going to put a prime matchup in London so it can start here at 9 am. Those stands are more full than some stadiums here though.

They have TVs in Europe as well. The sport is simply slow paced and boring. It's like a slow paced 3 hour rugby game with 2 hours and 40 minutes of breaks and commercials.

I've wondered how the NFL's push into the UK and Europe was going. Figured American football wasn't all that popular there. I no longer watching pro football any loner but of what little I've seen I don't recall hearing of Europeans playing the sport.

It’d be like playing the EPL in the US by highlighting a Stoke V Norwich game lol

Not sure if srs. You're main/favorite sport in Europe is soccer and you're complaining "America Football" being boring?

I watch both, neither is slow placed and boring if you watch the best teams and both can be boring if you watch chit matchups

It's boring in the sense that they literally have around 20 minutes of play during a 3 hour game. There's just nothing going on besides talk and/or commercials for the vast majority of the time. It's one of the reasons why I usually watch UFC events the next day instead of live. The American sports experience is dominated by commercials. Brb 30-40mins between a fight sometimes. It's just too slow paced and I don't like wasting my time.

Sports are an escape from politics and all that horsechit thrown at us daily, which is why it’s in the sports best interest not keep politics out of it even though that simple message doesn’t seem to have hit home with any commissioners and players associations yet.

I’m pretty sure they love American football in England being how much money is made and now they are moving into Germany.

American football is like a chess match. Its only boring if you don’t understand the tactics and fully appreciate everything going on in between plays. Just the same when Americans say midfield play is boring as an example
