Definitely the enemies fall. Friends are just living their lives, it's nice when things are going well for them but enemies are an active negative force in your life, and them failing means them being less of a problem.

I don't really get joy from seeing my friends do well - i just become jealous most of the time and hate them for being better than me.

So yeah, in all honesty i enjoy seeing my friends fail and don't enjoy their success that much.

Just being honest.

If they're an overall nice person though i don't even care, it's just that most people i know are purposefully competitive because they enjoy seeing others beneath them.

It easy to discriminate between these people as the genuinely nice, content and happy people don't have that whole attitude that they're better than anybody.
