How many of you have bought a dog from a breeder?

I'm thinking of getting a little brah but never had a dog before.

How did you compare breeders?
What is the process you had to go through?
Any other advice?
If you are not willing to risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary

good breeders dont sell puppies before theyre 8-9 weeks old. wouldnt buy from a breeder that just wants to make quick money. best social dogs are passive and obedient so when you pick a pup you better dont choose the wild one that attacks all the others and is all excited

What kind of breed do you want?

What fits your lifestyle?

Are you going to actual train it?

Find the breed that fits your lifestyle, then start finding breeders.......

I want to get a cane corso when I get my house/land......I am currently in an apartment so they're no couch potatoes. They need tasks and hell of a lot of attention.......there is a champion breed bloodline breeder near me that also sells a chit load of exotic pets. The property they're on is amazing and large........clean, and all of their feedback on ******** is positive......

Like someone said get a dog that suits you energy wise. I have a small German spitz and its very hard to potty train. But that's just me. IMO, I think purebreds have unique skills over mutts. My dog barks whenever someone knocks on the door or whenever she hears something outside.
