Watched the Green Knight

One of the few times in recent memory I regret not seeing a flick in theaters.

Looks amazing there was a few scenes I bet whipped azz on a huge screen with big speakers



Good movie, really hit the spot for something artsy without being obnoxious
fantastical without being capeschit

Something made for and by grownups dealing with big issues but NOT depressingly like real life.

I'm down for more of like this.

Liked it too, felt like main actor was a miss cast but overall was good and wanna see similar movies to it.

Because he was brown?

Just wondering, thought crossed my mind some folks really aren't trying to see brown folk in medieval european contexts.
No judgement I could see feeling that way and it taking someone out of it.

I got the feeling he was supposed to be in his late teens, 20's. But dude came off like a grown azz man

Nah was mainly due to him looking like a twink, he was great in movies like Slum Dog Millionaire but this role didn't suit him imo, still enjoyed the movie overall though.

You know who I think was GREAT casting? Dude that played the creepy kid in Killing of a Sacred Deer

He does a mouth-breathing Zoomer with menace thing to perfection

same director that did A Ghost Story, lot's of SLOW moving scenic shots and atmosphere
