Warning animal neglect / sad story


Mine is from a few years back, I used to smoke on my front porch at night and one day this nice friendly kitten came up and hung out with me for a bit, I didn't think much of it.

Didn't see it again till a few weeks later when it came up again but this time it looked like ****, really sick, really thin, eyes were all messed up. I quickly grabbed it some water and some of my cats biscuits and it went to eat them and it's teeth broke on them :-(

I got it in the cat box and drove to the emergency vets and they were trying to squeeze me for money I literally did not have and I told them its not my cat but please save it and I'll get the money but they said they couldn't do anything except put it down with no money and they had to do it then because it was suffering so they did and it died.

I can never forget that experience and it fills me with total sadness every time I think of it, they wanted like 3 grand and I was week to week on my pay at the time, **** those bastards I never trust vets.
