Stronger when working out fasted in the AM, compared to PM?

Noticed I am more efficient in my workouts when I do them in the AM before eating, compared to evening workouts. Like rn it's 8:30 and I am struggling to rep the weight I normally can in AM.

Anybody else?

Yeah I'm the same way. I used to fix some oatmeal + bananas before a workout and I was always sluggish. I forget I'm hungry as soon as I start lifting

yeah man, I never eat before my workouts any more. Usually when I workout in AM I just go for a walk to wake myself up mentally then get it in. I don't have to be at work til 2pm so I can just eat after

I can get behind this. Ive worked out quite a bit the past 10 years.. and I have a good feel for my body. I definitely seem to be stronger/have more energy in my AM workouts. In fact right now is the first time ive worked out in evening in awhile for that reason.

no sh*t. that is because your body gives you a rush of hormones in the morning to wake up and function.

fasted workouts in the morning are the best! keeps your circadian rhythm on point too, if you work out at night its harder to fall asleep.

The same here OP.

I never had low blood sugar so the empty stomach is fine, actually great, and works better for me.

Maybe it's bloating/gas? Sometimes when I start doing cardio when I feel bloated I feel horrible, then after a few minutes I can burp because of all the movement then I feel good.
Would kick em in the nuts
