No-Porn miscers.. Questions..

I see so many people posting on here saying they are no fap or no porn.

I have some questions.

1) Just how much are you fapping / watching porn for it to be a concern enough to cut it out?
2) At what point did you realise you had a fapping/porn addiction?
3) What are the benefits of cutting porn, or cutting fapping and how soon did you notice them?

I think the problem is not how often - it could be once a month or 10 times a day.

The problem (and reason miscers go no-fap/no-porn) is when it bleeds into non-porn/fap scenarios and it becomes difficult to get an erection.

If a brah can watch gangbang tranny bukkake porn and fap a few times a day, and still gets rock hard and cooms easily with one normal irl girl, most likely they don'tneedto go no-porn.

But if the only thing that gets a brah hard (due to the rewiring of his reward center) is actively watching dudes fukking trannies missing limbs, shouldprobablygo no-porn/no-fap for awhile.

1. any pron is bad. It's like asking how much heroin is bad. Hits the brain the same way
2. When you get brain fog or it effects your energy, routine. Doesn't take much for that.
3. Feel better and clearer after about two weeks, ime

1) Subjective - if it gets in the way/has a negative toll on other parts of your life.
2) I don't think I did but i had performance anxiety ED a few times in my early 20s and thought no p0rn would help get my mind right for my encounters with women.
3) Using imagination keeps me thinking of girls I'm interacting with and curbs expectations of the over-the-top stuff you see in p0rn.

I was watching p0rn maybe 2-5 times a week for my nightly wank. Now I watch it once every few weeks or so.

I have always wondered…

What if it’s my own pron?

Other than that, I don’t watch. I don’t think it’s bad per se, I just don’t need it in my life.

Realize that it programs you and deadens your desire for real women. In other words the thirst for the trim is gone. Messes up you brain in a big way. Its not a question of how often and how much it messes you up.

ALL OF IT MESSES YOU UP.

In no time in history has instant sexual imagery been available 24x7x365. In the past you were lucky to see nude women at all, never mind doing the depraved things that are all over the web. If you dont think this hasnt messed up society, than you need to do some reading.

Dont believe the stuff that tell you that is healthy and normal. NO ITS NOT.

Just experiment and stop watching it.

I got to where I wasn't even fapping, just realized that when I was bored or on the toilet, I'd scroll through pic sites. It got to where I was using it as a time waster and had lost my "excitement" in it, it was just a habit.

I'm 36, married (been together for almost 9 years now) have sex 2-4x/week and I fap 1-2x a week. Pron/fapping wasn't affecting my sex life, I just got to a point where I felt it really immature and my time could be utilized much better.

I was never really into watching vids of people fukking, I just liked to look at pics. I consciously made myself quit cold turkey for 60 days and have noticed a big shift in my thinking about time management, hobbies, production and really being thoughtful about where I am and the future. I don't not look anymore, but it's down to maybe once every 2 weeks...and when I do I don't fap.....in all honesty all I really do now is maybe search for a chick from IG or something to see if she has noods. Just a quick search then its done and I move on with my day.

Pretty much what this guy said. For me I didn't crank off multiple times a day like some other miscers & habitual masturbators claim, but I did feel the effects of the addiction. I recall hearing a lot of noporn people say porn made them apathetic to the opposite sex. I then realized there were plenty of times some girl would give me all the hints and I was just "ehh, whatever" about it all. It was preventing me from having any meaningful relationships with women and I was then able to see how bull**** and useless porn is and how detrimental it is to my livelihood.

interesting posts ITT.

Seems like a lot of people think porn has issues if they are single and it affects their desire to chase girls / sexual performance?

lold at the married guy (bsmit) above - how long were you watching pics for, for it to be considered a waste of time / immature?

I have sex most days + fap a lot and watch porn (home movies or the hub), but never noticed it making a difference with anything.

I do feel a bit like a retarded ape though when I fap. I feel like girls fapping is much more like artistic + hot. Maybe thats because im not a ****g0t tho (No homophobio)

No fap did nothing for me, stopped for 3-4 weeks. No mood change, did nothing to help my relationship/marriage.

It is porn, not so much choking the chicken, which is messing with people's brain chemistry. Porn should really be avoided. By watching it, you are basically assisting morally bankrupt, vile people push their poison.

Stop it immediately!

There is no situation where watching porn is a positive thing. If I am wrong, feel free to point out how.

Am something like 10 days into no fap/pron rn. Have always given up before because I really haven't seen much of a difference. Will try and stick with it this time since I have nothing better to do.

Do feel like I sleep better without it even though it's so easy to fall asleep post-fap.

Not sure if I'll see much else benefit though. Haven't had issues with ED before. Have struggled with finishing with chicks, but I don't really have any method of verifying progress on that rn
