Elon Musk is king at hustling the stock market and his cult lol

If this was any other car manufacturer their shares would have plummeted. Rental fleet deals are usually done very quietly, because it shows a lack of demand for their product, and the margins for these types of deals are low in comparison to regular retail sales.

Not only that, but there is about to be a huge Hertz dump coming up.

I don't like Musk, but he knows how to hustle the system. Retards everywhere are like "Oh wow!!!!! Huge deal for Tesla!!!!", when in reality the whole company is a giant facade.

Tesla Rental Deal is Propaganda Coup for Hertz’s “Selling Shareholders” & for Tesla. But Rental Fleets Are Low-Quality Sales Automakers Don’t Tout

Agreed 100%

He is an artful dodger and professional Snake oil salesman.
I am interested to see how it will end.

The hertz deal was at full price for the cars. It is still a ludicrous stock price mover but at least try to gather accurate information.

He's a great con man for sure. But its hard to take him down since he has a loyal small following of middle to upper class people in tech and government.

Try to critique a Tesla on the TeslaForum and you'll be banned right away. Don't ask me how I know.

Bloomberg asserts that the $4.2 billion deal divided by 100,000 vehicles would price the vehicles close to list (at $42,000 each). Tesla’s website lists the base Model 3 at $43,990. But we don’t know what’s in the deal. So was the statement that the price is close to list just more hype that the unnamed sources were able to get Bloomberg to cite to cause Tesla shares to jump?

If it wasn’t for the government propping him up he would gotten destroyed a long time ago.

For the longest time all you read was how shyty Tesla was doing. Everything was projected off of hype. Always under performing.

This is just another thing to add to the list of his swindles.

so true.

Seems to be the quickest way to make a buck is to get on the Government gravy train via subsidy.

u wot m8? You know that's public information right? Not hard to find.....no one keeps it a hush because rental companies NEED those cars/trucks/vans. Same for law enforcement cars/trucks/vans. lol

Why would you hide your easiest customer to deal with?

he's neck and neck with Trump for most successful conman

I'd give Trump the edge because he's almost worshiped as a God
and has people running into bullets for him

tbf Musk also has people strapping themselves into his death trap cars and getting burnt alive or driving off cliffs. But the Trump people are more fervent

When I worked at my corporate job it was the complete opposite.

All the incels their loved Musk, and hated Trump.
