Miscer discovers cheat code. Eats 2 meals a day for 7 years for only $150 per year.
Saved enough money to pay off his student loans and buy a home.
One California man cracked the code to saving money: Eat all your meals at Six Flags for just $150 a year.
“You can pay around $150 for unlimited, year-round access to Six Flags, which includes parking and two meals a day,” he told the outlet. “If you time it right, you could eat both lunch and dinner there every day.”
“That entire first year, I don’t think I ever went to the grocery store,” Dylan said. “I timed it so I was able to go there during my lunch break, go back to work, then stop back for dinner on my way home.”
Food-wise, the options weren’t too great his first year. Burgers, fries, pizza, breadsticks, “a pathetic sandwich and a refillable soda cup.” Dylan said it was “rough” eating so unhealthily. But now, Six Flags has expanded its options. He can go for tri-tip sandwiches, vegan black bean burgers, and meatless meatball subs.

I could eat the turkey legs at Six Flags a couple times week, other than that the options are pretty terrible.
Mirin that guys dedication though.

At what costs to his health?
It’s not hard to eat healthy on a caloric surplus on $240 - $300/month.
He only saved maybe $3450/year. I’m not sure how that much is going to pay off student loans, let alone by a home.
Edit: Just saw it was for 7 years, so he saved $24,150. That’s absolutely not worth it.

Did this a few years ago at one of the smaller local parks. If money is tight it's a good option, but yeah some of the food options are rough. The place I went to had fresh wraps and salads in addition to the normal junk food, so it was a pretty good deal. They don't do the free 2 meals a day anymore though.

Food is the one thing in this world you shouldn't go cheap on and try to "save".
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

I was going ti ask "but why" until I saw he paid off student loans and bought a house. Nice.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.
