Are skateboarders alpha?
I was pretty decent (10 years ago back in high school) and the crowd I hung out with, as loud, obnoxious, & cringe as they were at times, seemed to give no fks. You're out in the sun--most likely-getting bruised and banged up all day, determined to land said trick, making skateboarding a priority over women etc. Just an interesting thought I had

Was big into skating in my late teens.
It’s kind of cool especially in its 90s/noughties heyday but the the culture is one of try hards, stupid clothes, degenerates. Grown men rolling about on skateboards is cringe. And they think they’re solid despite being 160 lbs from the suburbs.
