Podcast for hunters, cowboys, and countrymen
Bear Grease podcast is excellent. Interviews a lot of interesting and fascinating folks. Love podcasts about tough individuals and the subject. A dying breed of America. He’s very articulate and a man of experience.
If anyone is looking for something like this, it’s a good one. Good values, lessons, and stories about the life.

Keep in mind, this podcast is the people that he interviews and showcases. It’s not about him. Individuals that he does his podcast about are tough as hell.

If y’all are into this kind of thing, and you want to know where the title “Bear Grease“ comes from, I suggest you read undaunted courage. It’s probably one of the most complete books I’ve ever read on the expeditions of Lewis and Clark.
Another excellent book is called empire of the Summer Moon. Not only is this a very good book that describes what the Comanche Indians were like, but the areas that the Comanches roamed is an area that I now hunt, fish, and spend time in regularly. You can still find remnants of Indians everywhere in the area called San Saba county. I also hunted in West Texas, which is a vast, dry, and tough terrain. Hunting in those wide-open areas can be very difficult in the assistance of horses, sometimes dogs, are necessary.
