I'm not really into anime, but I am a big fan of the original Blade Runner and 2049.

I still haven't seen 2049. I love Blade Runner, and I can't believe someone had balls big enough to think they could direct a sequel starring baby goose and that ******* who played Joker in Suicide Squad.

I didn't watch the OG growing up, I'll admit. That probably makes me a *******.

That aside, I saw 2049 earlier this year and it was fuking amazing brah. And I'm a snob when it comes to movies. I usually hate modern movies but this one has that wow factor that makes you think about it all the time.

2049 was surprisingly good. I thought they captured the atmosphere of the original without a ripoff.

You need to watch ASAP

The screenwriter of the original returned to write 2049.

It's directed Denis Villeneuve who made Prisoners, Sicario, Arrival and Dune.

Hans Zimmer does the music score.
Though I miss the Jazzy saxophone of the original. Hans does his usual bombastic electronic score.

Roger Deakins won an Oscar for Cinematography for this movie. He's a god when it comes to this.

I was watching something on Adult Swim a few nights ago, and they showed a trailer for it. I didn't know about it either.

I liked it better than the first srs.
Original Blade Runner went over my head as a kid compared to all the other classics that get raved about.
Wasn't till I was older and saw Blade Runner and I got it.
