Two questions (conspiracy theorists, storm-front brahs stay out)(srs thread)

1. Who here considers himself/herself well-adjusted?

2. If you do consider yourself well-adjusted, why do you think you post here? Do you get a chuckle out of the blatant degeneracy, stupidity, and trolling? Or is it something else? Or maybe there are just enough normal people here to interact with that it makes it worth it?

Precisely because there are so many lunatics, mentally ill, and social rejects frequenting the misc, is why I love this place. It is bizarre and unique and I have not found anywhere else online or in the real world near its level of weird.

2. I still post because sometimes I catch glimpses of things that attracted me to this forum in the first place, and it's still the most reliable place I can say the most insane chit that comes to mind without making others worry.

It's also interesting to see what goes on in strangers' minds when they're allowed to say whatever they want without repercussions.

There are just enough normal people here to have interesting conversations sometimes. And many lols to be had. Sometimes the bizarre/way out there posts are even funny, until they actually result in real life tragedies, ie ER

pretty much to get a chuckle, and it's something to do in between assignments at work. not a bad source for political news in general. there's probably enough "normal" and genuine threads.

2. I still browse here because there are still a few golden nuggets that keep me around and remind me of pre-covid/2020/Floyd/Aubrey misc. Plus there are some really cool people here that still post. I would've been gone long ago otherwise.

I browse because there are still some nuggets of wisdom sprinkled around and a decent amount of lulz can still be had. I post/rep/neg to send some positivity to those who seem normal amidst this sea of autists and to rustle the latter.
