Was in LA Last Weekend for Patriots Game -- GOAT City

Loved Venice beach. heard there was a lot of homeless, walked down from Santa Monica and didn't see any. Was bustling.

Ate like a king. This was a seafood coctel and had 2 pork belly tacos, Modelo Negro and tequila

Was there for the patriots @ Chargers game. Sofi is in a shopping district, there is a Costco right across the street. The GF and I got a roaster chicken and ceviche pregame then walked over. Was less than $19

Our seats, was in the 200s and Premier level. had a private bar and restrooms

SOFI is the goat stadium, been to Gillette, lambeau and Levis and it is not even close

We stayed right by LAX. I hate Uber, we took the Big Blue Bus which was right outside our hotel up to Santa Monica, cost $1 and was clean. No scumbags on the bus. I live in San Jose and public transportation is all scumbags. Walked from Santa Monica to Venice at night, no one messed with us. Was clean. Great city

The Elites dont' play around. They got all the normies out of the way by jacking up prices on EVERYTHING! Then they rounded up the bums and told them to phuck off and you barely heard a word from the bleeding heart liberals. The elites run LA. Alpha as phuck.

the traffic sucks, I feel locked to my 5 mile radius of LA, forget about going to OC/SD during the day, insane traffic

uber is a scumbag company. I degenmaxx every weekend, and have to pay $30-$40 uber to go 2 miles, phuckkkkin insane

the bums I feel like were way worse ~3 years ago? I feel like I barely see any of them anymore, and the homeless numbers keep going up. not that im complaining about no more bums. just odd.

I think that NYC is a better city, but LA is a better place to live. I lived in both. LA is not really a city imo, it's hard to explain to someone who's never been there.

My mind was nuked by how many illegals were on the east coast.

Been from mid-Atlantic up to NYC and Boston, all had as many or more hispanic illegals than I've seen in Colorado.

Crazy stuff.

It's because when the bums are rounded up and kicked out, they just move to different area. Right now, they're in my neighborhood. Our park is full of tents and cardboard homes. Down my street we got an RV encampment growing. Watched a some guy take a chit in my neighbor's garden and another decided to take a nap in the bed of my truck. I heard the sheriff is supposed to come in a few weeks and kick them out again. Better hope they don't come your way.

SD brah here, like it for the most part, but if had to move north & stay in Cali, would only move to Newport Beach, Dana Point, Huntington Beach, or Laguna. The rest is chit.

Only way to commute in this state is on a motorcycle. I rarely take the truck unless I’m going to the cabin in Big Bear

LA is a big place and you can't paint everyone with the same brush. I'm from the Hills and the scenery, the weather, the lifestyle here, it's hard to beat

As if you can just point to a place on a map and say "yeh I'll live there."

You must come from money. "The Hills, the lifestyle".

LA is great because you can choose what type of vibe you want with differing areas

LA sucks but that's because (besides the politics) I prefer cities where I can walk around, as opposed to drive everywhere. LA is too spread out.

LA is goat to visit. Some of the day to day bs of living there can get old. I loved living there though. I lived on the beach in Malibu, 1 block off the Santa Monica promenade and 1 mile from Venice. I miss all the restaurants. Glad you had a good time brah

Great place to visit but very spread out so have a gameplan beforehand or you'll waste your time commuting unnecessarily.

Living there would be aight if you could avoid big commutes for work I imagine.

LA is a ****hole now, the parts that aren’t are elitist and superficial.

And the worst part (which hasn’t changed), it’s completely full of douchebags. The worst, most vapid and empty people you can imagine.

I wouldn’t live there for any amount of money.

I constantly get passive aggressive remarks from all of the white dudes in their 40s as well.

Obviously this isn't all of LA, but for most of it is. For example I did stay in an apartment with nicer people, prior to this, I was staying in an apartment that was significantly cheaper and filled with regular people with regular jobs, and a few college students. Most of the people were nice AF. Always had conversations with people walking through the hallways, and people were quick to say hello.

There are just so many wanna-be actors, influencers, and wanna-be rich people who feel like they have to behave like entitled ass-hats to become what they strive to be.
To be honest that's part & parcel in a major city. The sheer amount of people you encounter everyday means you can't really afford to do small talk with strangers.

Don't take it too personal
