Dragon quest 11 is pretty damn good..

Anyone played it? I don’t play many jrpgs but like 50 hours into this one and not even that close to the end I don’t think. I’d give it a 9/10 so far maybe a bit too easy and too gay sometimes but try it

Always been a fan of dragon quest. Stopped played during act 3 just because it was getting really long and I could see the type of grinding I'd need to do.

you go back in time and have to do all the same bullchit all over again, such a garbage game mechanic and had no place in that game

I thought the game would have been a great game had it stopped before that stupid ass turn.

I was a bit upset at how Veronica's death get's reversed. Both because Super Serena was awesome and because it was such a big emotional point in the game. Felt like I found the drgaon balls and just wished everyone back. I get that everyone is happier because of it, but still.

Agreed. They really chit the bed there.

I mean I still beat the game and grinded it out to max level but it irritated me.

One of the few long ass RPG's I've beaten recently, and I didn't even do the epilogue as indicated in the spoilers above, so didnt truly beat the full game.

One of the dumbest parts of the game is going through the pride parade. Holy ****, not only is Sylvando the most annoying character ever but you have to walk so fukking slow in the parade to finish the sequence.

Im probably going to play tales of arise bc of the good reviews but really want sth turn based

If you have Gamepass there's a pretty solid turn-based JRPG called Astria Ascending. I won't pretend it's the greatest thing ever but it's pretty solid.
