Why would anyone ever want to go to bed sober?

Laying down in bed, recapping everything that just went wrong in my day, wishing I was cuddling up with my oneitis, finally succombing to falling asleep an hour later only to be woken up at 2 am by my 400 lb roommate walking past my door to go to a massive dump in the bathroom. Yeah, no thanks Jeff. Cheers.

Because for some, their lives are horrible and chaotic with substance use. There are other things to do besides substances, especially before bed. Are you familiar with sleep hygiene? What about some mindfulness/grounding techniques, such as guided meditation. There's some good herbs/teas that can help with sleep. I do understand your frustration though, lack of sleep sucks.
