You listened to it on audiobook?

I have 9 hours a day available to listen to anything so I recently listened to Ayn Rands best books

Atlas Shrugged - 1000+ pages, Something like 64 hours on audiobook
The Fountainhead- 700+ Pages, 32 hours appx on Audiobook

I feel more immersed hearing it read to me, If I had to actually read it I dont think I would have attempted to until I retired, which my life would have been ruined from not learning the lessons.

I listen to audiobooks while walking the nature trail behind my sub. I dunno why but whenever I sit down to read I start falling asleep. Srs it's like a sleep aid lol.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Thats fair. I dont like to read books because I feel like its stagnant, like Its all there and I can get that knowledge anytime.. If you take in life in the moment you get more of it through the lens of other people and that is how I prefer to view life.

I tried audio books and I couldn't really keep up. I guess I'm the type that needs to read the text as I may want to go back and hear some parts again.
