One was a fighter, one was a boxer, so I'll say the fighter was a better fighter, Tim Sylvia.
Bodybuilding is a lifetime journey, anytime spent not bulking or cutting is a waste of time.

In their respective primary sports, or in MMA? Butterbean was defintely better at Boxing than Sylvia was at MMA. If we're talking about MMA then...Sylvia.

As Combat sports athletes. That’s what I should have asked.

Since in misc we like to compare boxers to martial arts film actors and who can kick who’s ass

Lol, wut?

Sylvia was a multiple time UFC heavyweight champ with many title defenses.

Butterbean made a living fighting cans in sideshow organizations.

Sylvia was light years better at his sport.

Tim Sylvia got flatlined by Ray Mercer after he was already done. Gotta give it to butterbean on this one.

Butterbean also beat Bart Gunn

Butterbean beat Marc Mero-who knocked out Razor Ruddock twice & Bart Gunn who beat Dr Death-all time GOAT.
