So is Tua's tour officially over?
Now he has an injured finger on his throwing hand and his status is uncertain on when he will return. Not taking his recent injuries into consideration but based on the way he's played so far do you guys think he's good enough to be a franchise qb? I'm still unsure as there are times he looked like he could be a decent starter.

Should have traded for Watson
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Put him on Pittsburgh and he's probably a Pro Bowler.

Let’s not forget that Mac Jones took over for Tua, proceeded to go undefeated, won a natty, put up near Burrow numbers, after Jeudy and Ruggs left. And the top two remaining receivers, who played with Tua and Mac, both openly and quickly said they’d take Mac over Tua.
And the MORONS in the media pretended Mac was a much worse prospect than Tua.

I do feel bad for Tua though. He got put in a crap situation, and will forever be compared to Herbert which sucks (also thank god). He hasn't gotten a fair shot though. One year without training camp and being injured, and half of a year where he's on/off injured. And who is his supporting cast? Waddle? lol

Well, so far the kid has done everything he possibly can to prove he can be a starter in this league. If his career ends in the near future it will be because he's too injury prone and not because of lack of performance or effort.

Tua is basically Teddy Bridgewater 2.0.
Mediocre starter that won't lead you to the promised land.
Top tier back up QB.
Good completion %, good TD to INT ratio, low yards per attempt, not a great downfield thrower, middle of the pack passer rating and QBR, can run a little, not a lot.

Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way but, in 20 years if you're still here postin' in hhhnnnggg threads, beggin' for mod reps, and braggin' about whales you harpooned from POF, I'll f'in kill ya. That's not a threat, that's a fact, I'll f'in kill ya. You got somethin' none of us have, and you don't owe it to yourself man, you owe it to me. Cuz tomorrow I'm gonna wake up and I'll be red, and I'll still be a socially awkward/FA. And that's all right.

Am I crazy in remembering Tua as a really good deep ball thrower at Alabama? He came in the natty against Georgia and was throwing bombs. Did all the injuries just take that part of his game away?

I wouldn't throw the towel in on Tua yet. Doesn't Miami have a bunch of 1st round picks? They could add a lot of talent in the offseason.

I always thought Todd Bowles got a bad deal with the Jets. I remember those guys playing hard for him, just like the Bucs D last year.
Flores will have his pick of jobs.

Apparently a big reason they fired Flores is he didn’t have a good relationship with tua

Whoa wasn't expecting the firing of coach Flo this soon. If they don't spend the farm to get Watson, Wilson or Rodgers they'll have alot of assets to build around Tua. I'm curious to see what Tua can do with a better o-line.
