$11 for a ridiculous amount of fresh made food, das it fam
2 Pupusas with Cortido and hot sauce
Steak and bean Baleada
Did one chicken and cheese Pupusa and the other was a Revuelta. The dough was so good, fresh baked so they were light, fluffy and a little bit crunchy/toasty.

if you didn't order an horchata with all of that, i will be very disappointed in you
revuelta pupusas are awesome. assuming they blender their beans and not just put the canned/smushed beans in them.

Agree hard on the beans, it's like a texture thing between that and the fresh made tortillas that just works so good. Beans and cheese in a tortilla sounds boring, it isnt

Use to deploy to El Salvador so much that I was there more days out of the year than at home USA. Pupusas everyday for breakfast and sometimes for diner. Always with the slaw. El Salvador is such a small country, I think it's not even a 100 mile drive for the coast to the boarder of Honduras. I think all the Central America countries makes pupusas or something similar. Mexico does gorditas (nothing like Taco Bell) which are pretty good and a bit different than pupusas. You go down to South America and they do arepas, which is kinda like gorditas.

What kind of salsa was that? Looks like a solid latino breakfast but damn! $11 dollars for that? In most of latin america you can get something like that for $1.10 USD LOL Good for the homies that got that joint up and running. Become a regular and youll get extra juicy stuff for sure.

I have never seen those in the US tho, actually I don't think I've ever seen blue corn over there. Blue corn is GOAT corn.

Kind of looks like a Huarache which is a Mexican oblong tortilla topped with refried beans and your choice of toppings, basically a Mexican pizza type thing.
There was a killer Huaraches place near me I tried to single handedly keep open, miss that place feels batman.

Tlacoyos are a dish that predates the spanish conquista, people were eating them thousands of years ago

Depends.
I have some food safety expertise and can tell you that if its not jam packed so that fresh food comes in every hour, your'e going to git food poisoning.
Also not being able to read English on a high level will prevent them from following guidelines set out by health inspectors.
In my last job, which was a nail technician, they were all licensed. However, many of them ignored what they learned in school.

Honduras/ES look so beautiful but hear they are such a dangerous area to visit besides ultra tourist stuff like Roatan.
Haven't been there for over 5 years now, so things could be different especially with all the crap going on now.

How phucked up is it that one of the only things I miss about America is the immigrants lmfao.
Wood absolutely destroy some Mexican (and any other Central American) cuisine a literally unlimited number of times per day.
