Safety squat bar (reps)

I’m used to low bar squats and I’ve been trying to use this thing recently but can’t get the form right..haven’t been able to do any real sets due to it, main issue being I lose my balance

Should my gaze be neutral/up? Think about just sitting down rather than back? Sometimes I also get some lower back irritation while unracking, I place the bar on my traps tho so idk why.

Pls advise if any lifters remain

I don't get the safety squat bar

Looks like it just places the weight further past your toes and makes it so you can't put the weight further down your back

Why you usin it? Shoulder injury?

Yeah from what I’ve looked up it’s supposed to be closest to a front squat

Not shoulder injury, just need more volume with lighter weight and wanted to try it out
