Nose and ear hair removal with hot wax (gross pics stay out) (srs)

I've been using a nose/ear trimmer for a few years, and that chit sucks. So I saw this stuff on Amazon for like $15, so I gave it a shot.

I knew I'd be pulling out a lot of hair... but I didn't really expect this much.

Second warning: gross pics below.

Spoiler!

You really shouldn't be pulling nose hairs - in grown hairs can be infected and any infection around your sinus is potentially fatal.
A million miles away - I don't.. feel.... anything.

Yeah and nose hairs are like the first layer filter for breathing.

I've pulled a nose hair and an ear hair before and gotta say it's damn painful. No thx Jeff.

I know we all have a few friends who have died far too young from yanking out their nose hair.

I've got the trimmer that you shove up your nose, and I've got a couple 5 foot tall kids who let me know whenever I need to use it.

Like I said, I’ve been using one of those for years, and das not it.

But then again, apparently pulling nasal hair is the number one cause of death among men ages 25 to 50. So maybe I’ll have to reconsider.

Saw a video of Brian Shaw crying after his wife took him to have his eyebrows and nose hairs waxed.

No thanks, I'll use a trimmer.

I do just the outer visible nose hairs that stick out. And I pull those out individually. And it hurts like hell. Can’t imagine pulling them all out at once.

But why though? What is your issue with the trimmer that you prefer the waxing?

tbh, I keep the thing in my car and use it when I'm sitting in traffic every other week or so, it's not a hassle

I do this too, srs.

My wife has a hot wax warmer thing that I bought mini popsicle sticks for to dip in and shove up my nose.

I've used the microwave kits too. One of the worst things I've discovered about being old is nose hair surpluses.

I do the same with my nose hairs but use straws instead. Put wax on the tip, shove up nose, breathing through straw cools wax pretty quick, then yank out after about 20 seconds. Then I just take scissors and trim the used tip off and go again until I’m down. I don’t do it often…only when my nose hairs get bad enough.

The number one thing is I immediately noticed my breathing improved after removing that hair.

Yes. A normal amount of nose hair is one thing, but it’s the surplus that becomes the real problem.

staph infections to the brain do happen and do kill people - there's really no point in risking it, just trim short

Don't think it would work for me. I yanked my nose hairs out with a pair of pliers and removed some flesh with them. Tough little fukkers.
