Why COVID cases are surging in states with high vaccination rates

This is thinking in binary. Vaccines are not meant to completely eliminate Covid, but they do reduce symptomatic and severe infections significantly. So a load of asymptomatic infections is a far more desirable outcome than severe and symptomatic infections.
Back off, Warchild.

Obviously because the vaccine only works on the 1st, 2nd, and Gamma variant of CoVID, not the Kappa Unum Magnum variant which is currently spreading. Don't forget to take your booster shot to get protection from the KUM variant. Get as many boosters as you can, as they'll all boost protection. Trust the science, let's build back better y'all

Agreed. And the best part is--the vaccine works!!! That's why you can't sue the manufacturers for any negative side effects. Because we're confident it works, you just have to trust in it. Nevermind that it's impossible to conduct a useful study comparing covid vaccinated people vs non vaccinated people and their responses towards the virus. Just Trust. The. Government. They've never lied to you before. Why would they lie to you now?

Vaccines are not supposed to "reduce symptomatic infections". Vaccines are supposed to provide immunity, period. These COVID shots don't do that. They're a load of BS.

And asymptomatic infections are less desirable because they don't show any warning signs when you can infect others around you. You know, like the whole purpose of trying to be careful around others.

lol weve been in an information war on our own land the last year and a half, you do realize they have nullified your argument by actually changing the definition of vaccine? Srs clown world is srs.

You come across as really dumb no offense. You always talk a lot without saying much.

It's simple, the more people get vaccinated, the higher covid cases rise. There's no explanation you can come up with to refute that fact and defend your vaccines.

Rising covid infections isn't necessarily of much concern so long as covid hospitalizations and deaths stay down. Breakthrough infections amongst the vaxxed aren't even that big a deal so long as they don't develop severe disease or require hospitalization.

The CDC just changed what they consider falling under the "vaccine" definition, Webster, etc, didn't change chit.

We have been losing the information war though. You literally can't speak out about the vaccine, masks, etc, on social media or you will be silenced and banned. Even if you're a doctor.

Anything you post that's agains the narrative/fauci is "anti science" and misinformation, and will get silenced quicker than posting tutorials on how to get away with murder, make bombs, etc.

No homo?
A young bull and an old bull were standing atop a hill looking at a bunch of heifers in a field below.

The young bull says "Let's run down this hill and fuk one of those heifers."

The old bull replies "No. Let's walk down there, and fuk them all."

This sort of thinking is highly reductive. It is exactly what Bodhy meant when he called it binary. The rate of new covid infections isn't determined solely by the percentage of vaccinated population in a country/state/city. There are lots of other factors: do they still socially distance? Do they wear masks? Do they enforce vaccine passports? What other mitigative restrictions are in place? How well are they followed? Etc. Vaccinating more of a population doesn't cause its covid infection rate to increase.

In the past vaccines were meant to create complete immunity to the virus, resulting in complete elimination of the disease. like how polio is nearly non existent

When the covid "vaccines" didnt meet this requirement, they must have had binary thinking because they changed the definition of "vaccine" to match the limited effectiveness of these covid shots.

The left has become anti-science by this point. The whole mentality behind the vaccine being everything goes against everything we know about medical science. You can't vax your way into immunity when it comes to covid, at least not with the vaxxes we have.

It's a good thing because now they get herd immunity without hospitalization.

Although the all cause mortality rate is 33% higher in Sep '21 than it was Sep '20.... That's also a good thing.... Because it means we are killing off people who wouldn't have survived herd immunity anyway.

Just throwing this out there but the vaccine doesn't prevent you from catching rona. Same way the flu vaccine doesn't prevent you from catching the flu. It is supposed to dampen the symptoms and potential lethality. Not sure if I answered your post OP.

Then again I'm just a miscer on misc so what do I know? Lol

Well it's because medical science is proving how the vaccines aren't that effective, but the media has been doubling down on presenting them as being the solution to all our problems for so long that they can't back down, it's a matter of pride for them now.

Two basic, but closely allied, types of acquired immunity occur in the human body. The first is "humoral" or "B-cell" immunity, which is the process by which the human body develops circulating antibodies. The second is "cell-mediated" or "T-cell" immunity, which is the formation of large numbers of activated lymphocytes that are specifically designed to attack and destroy a given agent or antigen.

The available covid vaccines achieve both types or acquired immunity.

Exactly.

Immunity means u might still get the disease and be hospitalized. U can also spread it to others who are also vaccinated.

It's a new style of vaccination with the effectiveness designed to match the current state of society: terrible.

I wonder if Comirnaty does that too, if only we could get our hands on a vial of it. It's the one that the Canadian government lists on their website as being safe and effective!
In the cases where both types are not achieved, would infection lead to better outcomes than vaccination?

Lack of antibody development in immunocompromised individuals is hardly exclusive to covid vaccines.

So where does the narrative of "stop the spread" come in?
From what I've seen is people got overzealous/too carefree after getting the vaccine. Some don't even go back for the second booster LOL federal and local governments can scream prevent the spread all they want, but their actions contradict that so much.

The amount of events and venues opening up isn't helping prevent the spread. It's honestly just one hot mess since people can be infected and not show any symptoms which is what makes this virus pretty interesting in terms of behavior. I am only talking in laments terms and my knowledge on microbiology is elementary. My wife works in healthcare and she says it's cause society got way too excited after the release of the vaccine and people got lazy/carefree.

I added that people can only be so scared for so long too. We're social creatures by nature and the need for social interaction by any means, especially social gatherings was bound to take over our best judgment. CDC statistical data has always been flawed and meant as a general educated guess too, so who knows what the real numbers are.

I think it's best to just make sure you, or us as individuals that haven't caught rona keep doing what we been doing and stay safe. Lethality varies from person to person. Prior to rona, there were always cases of people getting hospitalized or passing from the season's stronger flu strain.

My common sense has always said to steer clear from sick people LOL Rona can go undetected so I assume everyone around or even myself could be infected so just best to try and keep yourself and everyone else safe. I'm starting to ramble, but yeah.

I don't care what the local government or federal say. I won't go around maskless until I notice local hospitals aren't having as many hospitalized cases again. WHICH, did happen for a good minute, but as I said. Venues and festivities started happening so :/

Who knows what's up though? Maybe they're tryna intermingle the unvaxxed and the vaxxed so herd immunity kicks in? Fuk, I don't even know if I contributed to this post anymore LOLOL

No, I mean people with reduced immune responses due to disease, medical treatments, transplants, age, etc. The standard definition and understanding.

Did you intentionally avoid the question regarding your argument?

Would outcomes be better from infection than vaccination for people who did not develop antibodies from vaccination?
