Alright brahs. New Z06 or Shelby 500 21?

Deciding which one to get next both are relatively same price at 100k which one for looks and Performance on your opinions for every day use and toll roads. Has to come in blue as well

Lol have literally been thinking about buying a gt500. I'm biased because I love mustangs, but ima go with the Shelby bby.

I’ve had 3 different mustangs in my life when I was a teenager, stayed away from them cause they’re everywhere but I feel like I can see myself happy crawling in this 500 and feeling different from others

Have built three different stangs in the day. I don’t deny some chevys are faster off the lot but lol at anyone who thinks that a ford wouldn’t beat a Chevy into the ground after some tender love and care.

Corvettes are cool for people who don’t know what to do with an engine.

I don't know anything about either car but looking at vids of both the vette looks way more exotic and sounds better. Get w.e one suits your life best.

Mustangs do nothing for me but a nice vette always turns my head.

OP posted this thread already I guess now hes down to 2 cars.


The zo6 is the better looking, better preforming, and its N/A flank crank V8.....its the fastest and highest HP flat crank........mustang gt350 is only 520? 530 hp? The z06 is 665 or some chit.......

GM is taking over once again as having the best handling, and fastest pony car. No one talks hellcat because its a big ass HP number with nothing else supporting it........dying breed.


The roadmap for the C8 platform has been leaked and it will continue to start aiming at Ferrari and Porsche, they could honestly not care less of any domestic sports car at all right now.



Does this look like they care about anything Ford will do?

Doug Demuro paid 220k-ish for his, around 4 maybe 5 years ago......he could flip it for a crazy profit but he wont. It would be a silly investment to buy one now.

Amazing responses ITT read all of them, seems this thread is heavily leaning z06.. only downfall is the 2 seats And I got two husky n my car lmao. Good news is we got the M4 that they can stick their heads out and it’s a convertible.

I guess even the Shelby ain’t gonna do much since no back windows either that go down.

I’m starting to back out on a Shelby 500 blue with black stripes carbon package if this Z06 is gonna blow the doors off the Shelby and turn heads more and it’s same price...


I contemplated a gt or a Gt3 but for 150k+ those cars are not designed to be daily driven not only accidents but the way the oil pressure is it would eat itself alive in stop and go traffic.

I’m sure the vette n Shelby are more practical for every day use in Texas roads
