Liberals: What protection will there be with raising mimum wage to 15, 20 or larger?
As title reads.
It seems that I only hear about the minimum wage increase in Democratic/Liberal run cities, but none of them can give an answer as to why it will help?
When I ask them, they shout at me with their feelings and emotions and call me heartless because I don't see why Joe from Taco Bell needs $20-25/hr.
Do you Democrats/Liberals have any plans for how this will affect other jobs that are currently making $15-20/hr like CNAs when Joe from Taco Bell makes as much as them w/ no license/education?
Any of you have a solution to solve jobs getting rid of employees and going automated so that they can keep their profits w/o having to pay more people?
Serious question - any real world, future solutions to what will happen if the minimum wage is increased federally?

What ultimately matters in the economy is the size of the supply of the things people want (food, housing units, electronics etc)
Pumping more money in an economy doesn't increase the supply of those things
So prices will just rise until people can just barely afford things and they are in the same spot as before

Not a liberal, and they won't answer real questions but I have read about this topic. They want people who are currently making the $15-20 to just be happy for those under them making a decent wage and not to use to to try to get more money. Just like the extended unemployment where people wee getting $600/wk for not working, telling people who are working to be happy that those people who need it the most are getting money. Yeah, I'm just going to keep busting my ass and be happy for those who don't have to. At some point, people are going to wonder why they are left out. Like, why not me? Why not my fellow co-workers? Why are these people special? The party of inclusion sure likes to exclude a lot of people.. Being selfish is toxic for others and being selfless is toxic for you. Selfless people are very beneficial for selfish people.

When they think about bumping min wage to 25/hour, they are thinking of what would happen to one person if they want from min wage to 25/hour. They could afford their own apartment, car, pay off debt etc. So they think if everyone was paid that, everyone would have that experience.
But they lack the intellectual capability to think critically. They don't understand inflation, supply/demand, and the general scarcity of goods. They don't understand that there aren't enough apartments for everyone to have their own, but yet they think if more money was pumped around everyone would magically have their own.

They get replaced by people with more skill, education, and experience, adding up to greater output, to compensate for that wage increase.I think thats what they think

In other words, minimum wage increases increase unemployment, and put the ones wanting it in a worse off position
One party system; Most Republicans are Democrats, but no Democrats are Republicans.
Hayek and Mises were right; they're all socialists.

The US needs to get rid of the dollars they've pumped into the system. But you can't do that once it's in circulation.
