anyone have an ODB II scanner for their iPhone?
My white trash friend has a Jeep Toastermobile (Renegade) a Chevy Equinox, and a Buick Eggmobile (Encore) and I want to get him a ODB II scanner he can use with his iPhone that will work on them all.
Looks like there are a few to choose from.

there are two types.
WiFi and Blue Tooth.
you can only use BT 4.0 devices with IOS.
they tend to cost more than the wifi devices.
the wifi devices once plugged in create a wifi network you have to connect to with the phone.
then you run one of the many apps which has limited functionality in the free version and connect to the device using wifi settings.
i have $15 one off amazon.
works fine.
my phone will connect to it automatically if i leave it plugged in which kills my data for gps.
