Why was the misc hidden?

Why are they ashamed of us, the misc was known for bringing legions of people onto this website. I mean with people like CopeFear and ImBored I kind of get it. But still, I reminisce fondly of lulz of yesterday.
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

I was on a right-wing news site and they had their comment section disabled with the explanation that Big Tech threatened to delist their website from Google results due to the amount of bigoted comments that were appearing in the comment section.

Maybe that happened to bb.com too? Not long after the Misc was closed the anti-gay slur ph*ggot was censored. Those two things could be linked.
