Dam boyos parents said they would buy me an apartment!

after I secure my job, working past probation.

Is this a good idea? I originally wanted to just rent out a basement suite- I'm a first year electrical apprentice making 20.50 an hour.

But after looking at some apartments, it'd be pretty sweet to own one in a nice location with a dope balcony.

I would be contributing the most to the mortgage but my parents would help me out

I'd only ever accept this if I was 100 percent sure I wouldn't let my parents down, meaning I'd be confident I could pay the mortgage.

good for you, but I could never handle being a burden on my parents like that. I worked hard in my life to make sure no one had to take care of me, so I would be embarrassed to be in a position where that was even an offer for me

Do what you think ultimately will put you in a position to succeed. Its clear your parents still care about you, do something to repay them and make them proud, like being an above average functional member of society. Just saying 31 is a little old to be making this type of thread...

Make ‘em proud and they’ll never regret it. You should 100% do it as long as you don’t go off the rails, let it be motivation to get your life all the way on the right track.

And good luck srs

You are wasted in what you are doing. You should be a reporter with such a misleading, contradictory headline vs story.

But you’d be crazy not to accept this.
