Is there nobody here who does the GOAT entertainment setup for a PC?
Just discovered this.
1. Get a TV that is 75~ish inches, give or take
2. Get a desktop PC, and instead of a monitor, plug the monitor into your TV. Any new TV can handle working as a monitor, very easily.
3. Get a couch with an ottoman, kick your feet up, pillows behind you
4. Wireless keyboard and mouse
You can instantly pick any movie just use a streaming site, no need to spend money on Comcast or whoever for TV.
Play video games comfortably on the couch on a big ass TV
Misc on a 75" screen like I'm doing right now
Simply push out the ottoman when company comes over, the desktop isn't ugly and just set it next to your media center, and it operates like a normal TV
11/10 setup. I can't believe people still use computer desks.

Or just leave PC on desk so you can still work on it and then use an extra long hdmi cable to plug into tv, or wireless hdmi transmitter if its too far away

yup ive done this for years - used to use kodi or other media server frontends but now i just prefer it simple with vlc and a web browser - also helps to get a high end sound card and hook up that spdif to a solid receiver/amp
A million miles away - I don't.. feel.... anything.
