As you can see here, Asian American men kill themselves at a MASSIVELY disproportionate rate. To put this in to perspective, Asian men in the US are about 12x more likely to die from suicide than from heart disease, and 4.5x more likely to die from suicide than homicide. No other demographic in the country has suicide as the #1 leading cause of death. It’s only (young) Asian men.

I actually took a look at the posted data. I feel like the way you worded the description is a bit misleading?

Take the all races, male, ages 15-19 and 20-24 for example (page 14). The suicide rate is 17.9 and 27.2, respectively. That's already higher than the Asian American counterpart, being 11.6 and 21.4.

Comparing the rate to "all demographics" is not good because females in general have a much lower suicide rate.

You're reading it wrong. At page 14 for all races, suicide is not the leading cause of death, it's still high at number 2 but for no other demographic is suicide the leading cause of death than for young asian americans.

And yes men in general have a much higher suicide rate than women, comparing it to the general population shows just how bad the situation is for men and especially asian males in america.

Similarly as any particular countries GDP goes up (correlates with Westernization), the number of people with depressive symptoms goes up too.

Perhaps eventually people will realize the PRAGMATIC reason for institutions like religion (which isn't perfect, but better than the godless individualism what we have today).
