also make it apart of the PlaystationPlus and (charge a little bit more) right now the slickdeals is $35 a year for PS+.. People are willing to play $10.00 a month on xbox gamepass or $15.00 for additional cloud gaming benefits so this should be easy IF they tell you all their exclusives will be one day playable and include a good backlog of ps4/ps3 exclusives.

also PS+ free games are fukin stupid... sorry but the these free monthly PS+ games they have been releasing have been utter dog chit and useless games, its like those humble bundle games no one will ever play

to make things worse, Epic Games is getting the godfall tech demo as well, and its free. so Sony did not put out a single PS5 game on PS+ for the month of december, but a free demo thats also available on epic games


i am overall disappointed in the PS5 right now, but i'm hoping year 2 changes things.

This is literally nothing but a rebrand so that when they launch their "subscription" service (which is actually just PS+) they can label it as "More users than Gamepass".

Yeah I checked this out. While I am glad that Gamepass is getting some better competition, this really comes off as more of an expansion for PS Now than anything. PS Now doesn't let you download anything (besides a selection of PS4 games apparently), and this is just more of the same with what they had going for their PS3 game selection.

I guess if you're big on streaming old games this could be a big thing for you, but then again that stuff is very easily emulated these days. What Sony needs to really compete with Gamepass is new releases, and this isn't that.

Don't care I just want to play the best games available.

Great. If they can compete with Xbox game pass, including full PC release, prices drive down, more games available to more platforms, etc They already have PSNow - if they enhance this and make it competitively priced, everybody wins.

The thing is, they'll probably just keep it on PS platform and nobody cares at that point, no crossplatform play etc

Unfortunately, it wont be like gamepass where sony will drop first party games day one ... With that added price hike, I'll be very surprised if a game drops day one. Anyway, interested to see what they do with PS1/PS3 games ... Some ps2/3 titles are dead in the water like MGS 3 and MGS 4 with no way to play them unless you own a ps3 or ps2 because they're exclusives.

If this can address that that'd be pretty cool. I'm not too hopeful on how good this will be because I expect sony to nickel and dime even further, but I hope it can rival gamepass and give microsoft something to think about since gamepass is killer and competition is always good.

As the owner of an Xbox, it shouldn't be hard for Sony to bypass them, if they already haven't. Xbox one has the worst performance I've seen in a system. Can't keep a steady frame rate for some games, game pass kinda just sucks and the power output which they tried to have as the number 1 selling point is kind of useless. The only perk to Xbox is that elder scrolls six is supposedly an Xbox exclusive. Bethesda is fckin up.
