should I go into the family business with my dad?

Dude's a workhorse and makes $150 for an hour job doing plumbing. Not uncommon for a stack of 300 cash for 3-4 hours of work.

So far he does business with only Chinese people; posts ads on websites. But I'm thinking I can bring the Western thinking into the family business and help him out while earning some side cash for myself.

Any plumbers in the misc?

give it a try. but try not to f**k him up. listen more, talk less. try to learn, not teach. the old man sounds like he knows what he's doing. be humble.

I wouldn’t but you might have no better options so give it a try and follow Gordon’s advice.

I’d recommend for you to do it, heeding Gordon’s advice.
At first let your dad call the shots, he’s the boss.
You will be a partner later once you have proven yourself.
Discuss your ideas with your dad, but not right away.
In the long run the both of you together could expand the business quite nicely.

My nose is too messed up to breath. I was working on ladders today and putting headers (blocks of wood) for ceiling lights and just couldn't operate the drill. Stuff kept falling, i felt like i was falling, kept on resetting the ladder to get the right angle, had little strength my shoulders were on fire.

I was at the plant job last month but they laid me off.

Idk, i tried a couple places, but didn't make it. I had the plant job, and with others the pre-employment schooling paid off, but yea i guess that's on hold

No but he installed a water filter tap in the kitchen, because the city is adding fluoride to the water. This happened a couple days ago.

Yes you tard. Trades are dying across North America. BRB corner the Chinese market, brb corner the ****** market, when more boomers retire you will have way more demand . Learn the trade, run the business, hire more plebs like yourself so they can do the grunt work. Any person under the age of 30 that has nothing going for them should do a trade. Boomers homes are getting older, and maintenance will be needed. Quit wage slaving and get into a business

If it's not Reverse Osmosis, then it's not going to get Fluoride out.

You're 31 years old and only now just thinking of this?

You could've been making bank since you were 14.
A young bull and an old bull were standing atop a hill looking at a bunch of heifers in a field below.

The young bull says "Let's run down this hill and fuk one of those heifers."

The old bull replies "No. Let's walk down there, and fuk them all."

Working with family can be a pain in the ass, but if you really think about it, no matter what job you do you will take chit from someone and have to deal with your co-workers bullchit, so it might as well be your blood, especially your father.

Also, there’s nothing like being your own boss.
