Just watched the movie "Tombstone" for the first time
I want to grow a mustache, and carry a revolver. Bonus points if I get the opportunity to threaten a man to turn his head into a canoe with a pistol.

It's one of the greats.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Somehow I've never seen it. And I remember so fondly being like seven years old and watching Gunfight at the OK Corral with my dad.

Yeah it's a good one. Michael Biehn's best performance imo.

So many good scenes and quotes in that movie.

Val should have won the Oscar.

Favorite movie. Got a poster signed by a number of the cast. Worst Oscar snub ever was Val Kilmer not getting best supporting actor. He stole the show.

They did exaggerate some things like how many cowboys they killed at the end (it was a lot less in real life) and Earp seemed to be a lot more of a gray type character than the movie shows. They did a good job on Holiday too - what did you think was wrong specifically? It's a fun movie but aside from the OK Corrall fight, it's pretty much fiction. Most of the IRL characters were nothing like they were in the movie.
The way they showed Ringo die pretty much jived with how they found him. They knew it wasn't his own gun that put the bullet in his brain and no one ever knew who actually did it.
This is a great book on it:https://www.amazon.com/Tombstone-Sou.../dp/0826321542
