Air fryer boyos aware me

I've been browsing over air fryers the last two days, Amazon, review sites such as cnet etc. I'm looking for one that has a fairly large capacity (10+qts) for meal prepping.

Then comes the combos, I see ones that are 8 in 1, 11 in 1 etc, are they basically mediocre at all of them or great at most of them?

There are air fryer/rotisserie, air fryers with multiple drawers, air fryer/pressure cookers so the options are pretty overwhelming.

I really just want one for wings, breaded foods, fried chicken, grilled chicken etc.

So what are you air fryercels using?

Fuk the combo ones. This is the best air fryer for the money. We use it regularly and runs like a dream.

I have a Ninja 4-qt Air Fryer. I didn't buy it directly from their website, but here is what it looks like:https://www.ninjakitchen.com/exclusi...nja-air-fryer/

It does its job well. No real complaints. Regardless of which one you choose, make sure you read the instructions in regards to using aerosol cooking sprays.

Personally use a 4 qt fryer - ninja foodie and it can cook a whole medium chicken.

I have one, great for cooking up relatively small things, like beef patties, sausages etc. Cuts down significantly in cooking time compared to ovens etc.
Back off, Warchild.

Air fryers are just countertop convection ovens.

If your oven has a convection setting, just use it with a baking sheet and wire rack.

I've noticed with my ninjas I can't bread any of the wings or they don't cook so I just brine and lightly season them instead. Next I'm going to get the extra large Ninja griller.

or
just the method of air frying dries it it too much

but the food tastes funky in my experience

I have an instapot omni plus. It’s pretty cool. Can bake/toast/broil/air fry/ rotisserie/and dehydrate. Never used the rotisserie function, but it’s pretty good one the others.

I was interested in the dehydrator function to for jerky as well.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations

If it's not too late, don't get the "best" ones, they have a more powerful fan that does a good job but is way more prone to blow fat onto the element and smoke like crazy. The crappy knock off ones work better

Get one of these instead.

Airfryers ain't chit. This thing can airfry, dehydrate, reverse sear and do whatever an airfryer/convection toaster can do. It can also bake baguettes because it's steamy. Most home ovens can't even make proper baguettes. Just look up what a bitch it is to make an oven steamy.
I don't own one currently, but it's definitely on my list. It connecting to your wifi and having an app is kind of a turn-off for me though.

They heat up faster because they are smaller, that might be nice making food for one person. They don't cook better. I had both and ditched the air fryer.

It's great for vegetables as well - toss in olive oil and fry them, healthy and crispy (I use broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, brussels sprouts).

I also use it as an extra cooker when I'm doing something in the oven and there isn't room.

Just make sure you get a good size. I thought mine was going to be a LOT bigger than it is.

I have 2 Hybrid ones.

Insta pot w/ Air fryer lid: 3.5/5 Works well
Cons=
- Has 2 levels top level cooks better than bottom.
- Not a huge capacity
- Annoying to clean all the pieces

This Multi function one: 4.5/5. Works well. Easy to clean/use/always setup unlike the instapot.
https://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-TOA...803306&sr=8-31
Cons=
- Low capacity
- Runs hotter than advertised so you need to "know" how to use it. I just take 25-50F* off whatever recipes call for.
Are you not entertained?

Honestly just LOL at throwing out a $500 air fryer recommendation. What a waste.

I have the Ninja indoor grill/air fryer Foodi which is 200 and does all that.
https://www.amazon.com/Ninja-FG551-D...s%2C198&sr=8-4

Also have this one which is pretty awesome but doesn't accurately do temps. At 450 it tops around 425 but I adjust recipes accordingly. Should have returned to see if it was a wonky one but whatever
https://www.amazon.com/Ninja-DT251-C...20&sr=8-4&th=1

Honestly tho, for what you're going for you probably might want a basic basket one like listed above. They're better for wings. You can just toss the basket a couple times every 5 min and nothing sticks. With the racks it becomes a pain sometimes.

That's the thing, it's not just an airfryer. It's a small combination oven, the stuff you have in professional kitchens.
Though the stuff you posted looks pretty cool too, even though they aren't steamy.

I am tempted. Care to share some quick and easy high protein meals you use it for? I sort of want one but not swayed yet, I'm not sure I'd use it. I basically use a pan for more or less everything, and that 1 calorie spray instead of normal oil.
