I don't think that looks good at all. The animations are pretty but changing the speed and camera angles constantly look really annoying.
Reminds me a bit of every time you would stealth kill in the last Deus Ex games.
Having control ripped away from you like that really sucks.

Hopefully, you can disable all that stuff.

It's on purpose. These clips were made by a guy called sunhillegend who used to be on gaf/era .. Dude makes crazy replay videos and he's contracted by guerrilla now, so that's part of his video style.

Look at the state of play gameplay ... it's all smooth, unless you count the parts where she activates her bullet time for arrows (which was there in the first game - including most games that have a bow or a gun lol)

Got bored half way thru the first. Story was awful. A world where men ruined everything so women rule in the future. I wouldn't be interested in a story like that for any other medium of entertainment so maybe that's why I wasn't into this series.

Graphics are gunna be sick tho prob

God these games do look great.

I tried the first one, played about 8 hours or so and decided it just wasn't going to be for me, however I definitely see the appeal and you can see the quality they put into the title. Definitely will likely be a GOTY candidate for sure.

LoL@ HZD haters. Yea it looks gay AF, woman main character, robot dinosaurs, etc. and the story is absolute trash. HZD is all about visuals, performance, and gameplay. Not sure how anyone into gaming can't appreciate the top tier combat the game delivers on Ultra Hard while doing it so flawlessly and beautifully.

ya'll gonna play at the 30 or 60fps modes? I wonder how much of a hit the visuals will take at 60fps. Hopefully it's only resolution and not actual graphical settings. Game looks way better than the original (which already looked good).

30 fps for me.... I always go for the best visuals, if there isnt much visual difference, then 60 fps for sure.

HZD was okay. Really fun at first but halfway thru I was bored of it. Hopefully the story is better in this one.

I'll wait until the Ultimate Edition is $20 to play it

Looks very boring. Looks like the kinda game you sneak up on someone and press a single button to assassinate them. Lack of actual gameplay seems like a trend for sonycel games. I want to play games not watch a movie. Hard pass, hopefully they got some black and LGBTQ representation in it. That's the most important thing

For real lol. Can't imagine actually getting excited about this kinda chit. To be honest the praise for these kind of games always feels very forced, like they're just desperately trying to assert values on graphics all the time. Thing is graphics like that are no longer a big selling point, both the PS5 and Series X are capable of great graphics and we have gotten to the point where bragging about graphics is like bragging about cinematography in movies, where although it adds to the quality it isn't really a focal point on what makes them good entertainment.

Honestly, the biggest problem I got with this game is just how uninteresting it is to me. The characters do nothing for me, the setting is just some sci-fi inspired nonsense, the gameplay doesn't really offer anything interesting, it just comes off as a forgettable, easy to skip game. Considering how it's a sequel, I got experience with the original game to back that up as well. I tried to get into the first game but it was one of those games where I had to force myself to play it and there was always something else I would rather be playing.

The story is trash? I dunno man, the first game had a pretty interesting mystery. Finally knowing how their world got to be that way was pretty cool.

Eh, I mean I wasn't into it. And even if you were you have to admit the character development and presentation was trash, especially in comparison to what some other Sony titles like TLoU have done.

The game is known for it's gameplay and complex combat. Good example of an ignorant take from a butthurt Xboxcel though I guess.

I liked the overarching story and found it interesting. But the main character was lifeless and the moment-to-moment writing wasn't good.

It had plenty of gameplay and definitely isn't just a stealth combat game or a "it plays itself" type of game. The melee combat needed some work but the ranged systems worked really well.

Isn't the last of us 2 known for its gameplay and complex combat? So complex, you throw a glass bottle, the enemy gets distracted then press triangle to stab them. Give me a break sonycel.

I think HZD looks great but i got bored after 10 hours of playing it

Like it's literally one of the most boring games i've played and it's hard af sometimes

You gotta remember the low standards they live on. They think games are amazing if they have good looking cutscenes depicting tranny sex, they think that's deep and game of the year material.

That's a fair take on it.

The characters weren't my favorite, but unraveling the mystery through old holo logs and recordings is what really got me into it.
